Privacy Policy

Bloomly (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services (together, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile data. Such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, and preferences you save in the app.
  • Relationship and personalization inputs. Information you provide so we can personalize greetings and reminders—for example names, relationships, occasions, tone preferences, or notes you choose to share with Bloomly.
  • Content you create. Draft or final greetings, images, templates, and similar content you generate or store in the Services.
  • Usage and device data. Including how you use the Services, diagnostics, approximate location from IP where applicable, device type, operating system, and app version.
  • Communications. Messages you send to us (for example support requests).
  • Marketing site data. Basic server and analytics information from visitors to our marketing pages, as described in the Analytics and cookies section.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services, including AI-assisted greeting generation
  • Schedule reminders and deliver in-app experiences you request
  • Personalize output using the preferences and context you provide
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug technical issues
  • Communicate with you about product updates, security notices, or support
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms

3. AI processing

Parts of Bloomly use artificial intelligence to draft or refine greetings and related content based on your inputs. Your prompts and relevant profile or personalization fields may be processed by models or infrastructure we operate or source from vendors. We do not use your content to train third-party models unless we expressly disclose otherwise and, where required, obtain your consent.

4. Sharing of information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us host data, run authentication, send notifications, process analytics, or support AI features, subject to confidentiality and processing obligations
  • Community or public features where you choose to publish or share content (for example optional community galleries). Content you share in those contexts may be visible to others as described in-product
  • Legal and safety when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law

We do not sell your personal information as that term is defined under U.S. state privacy laws that require this statement.

5. Third-party platforms and sharing

When you export or share a greeting through another app or platform (such as a messaging app), that sharing is governed by that third party’s privacy policy. Bloomly does not control how other services handle messages you send.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account or certain data where applicable law allows.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have the right to opt out of certain analytics where applicable. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your request.

You can also submit a data deletion request through our form.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us.

10. International users

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

11. Analytics and cookies (marketing site)

Our marketing website may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to measure traffic and improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we will obtain consent before using non-essential cookies or trackers.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice as required by law.
